Kid's Ministry

Our mission is to grow a next generation of Christ followers who love and live for Jesus! Our ministry on a Sunday morning incorporates Bible learning and real-life application through crafts, small group time, and group discussions. We partner with parents and equip them with the support they need to have their children go out and be a light for Christ.

Kids Ministry Sunday Morning Schedule:

1st Service (9:00am)- Childcare for ages 2 and under

2nd Service (10:30am)- Our kid’s min time occurs during the 10:30 service. There is childcare provided for the nursery (kids ages 2 and younger) during the whole service. The rest of the children, up to 5th grade, are invited to join us for worship and a special time of kids songs at the beginning of the 2nd service and then are dismissed to their age appropriate classes before the message.

Adult Ministry

Men’s and Women’s Ministries are both led by teams of people who love to see the adults at Timberline fellowship with one another and focus on the Word of God together. They plan biannual retreats (alternating Men’s and Women’s each year), as well as a variety of activities throughout the year that are geared toward providing space for fellowship, encouragement, spiritual growth, and a lot of fun! Check out the church calendar for upcoming events!

Connection Groups

Connection Groups are a place for Timberliners to gather throughout the week and are designed to provide an opportunity for individuals and families to establish meaningful connections with other members of the body. These groups are a great place for fellowship, spiritual growth, worship, evangelism and service!

Transitional Housing

This program offers free short-term housing for approved participants to give them a stable place to live while they work to turn their situation around. Participants meet with a mentor at least twice a month to create a personalized action plan with realistic goals, connect individuals to local resources, and to address spiritual and physical needs.

If you are in need of housing please contact The Factory Ministries in Paradise 717-687-9594 or Solanco Neighborhood Ministries in Quarryville 717-786-4308. These organizations have many resources for individuals looking for aid, and we receive our housing referrals from their advocates.

Short Term Missions

We believe in the value of short term missions done right! We actively encourage our partners to take the opportunity to serve on short term missions trips. This can take the form of individuals serving on their own, with organizations like Youth with a Mission, or our high school students traveling overseas for a week or two. In addition, as a congregation we have formed a long term partnership through World Help with Hope of Life, an organization in Guatemala. We take yearly trips there and serve in Village Transformation projects.

In addition to this, every Sunday we collect a “Bucket Offering”. This offering is dedicated to helping Restore the World by fighting the effects of extreme poverty around the world. Every penny received in the Bucket Offering goes to things like feeding villages in Guatemala, disaster relief around the globe, assisting refugees in war torn areas, or supporting pastors and believers in persecuted nations.
